Auction result well in line with expectations
In August this year Christies in New York held the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Lotus Pond after Rain by Wu Hao. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,187.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
