Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Iron Cock by Wu Hao was sold in the Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,582.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Iron Cock von Wu Hao wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.582,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Hao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
