Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Enjoying The Plum Garden by Wu Guandai was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,562.17). Admittedly, works by Wu Guandai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers and Rubbings in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 65,020.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Enjoying The Plum Garden von Wu Guandai wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.562,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Guandai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers and Rubbings im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 65.020,16).
