Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Untitled Ii-532 by Wu Da-Yu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,342.96), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Da-Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 14 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Ii-532 von Wu Da-Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.342,96) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Da-Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 14 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.080.000,00 (€ 2.036.982,78).
