Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers Rhymes (Painted In 1960S) by Wu Da-Yu was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 10,680,000.00 (€ 1,188,002.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 9,000,000.00 – 15,000,000.00. Other works by Wu Da-Yu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Untitled 14 was auctioned for HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78).

Die Arbeit Flowers Rhymes (Painted In 1960S) von Wu Da-Yu wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.680.000,00 (€ 1.188.002,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 9.000.000,00 – 15.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Da-Yu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Untitled 14 für HKD 18.080.000,00 (€ 2.036.982,78) versteigert.
