The work Letter To Zao Wou-Ki by Wu Da-Yu was sold in the Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,001.12), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Da-Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 14 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78).

Die Arbeit Letter To Zao Wou-Ki von Wu Da-Yu wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.001,12) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Da-Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 14 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.080.000,00 (€ 2.036.982,78).
