Auction result well in line with expectations
The work UNTITLED I-401 by Wu Da-Yu was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2018. The price achieved of CNY 168,000.00 (€ 21,046.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Da-Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 14 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit UNTITLED I-401 von Wu Da-Yu kam im September 2018 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 168.000,00 (€ 21.046,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Da-Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 14 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.080.000,00 (€ 2.036.982,78).
