Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled I-156 by Wu Da-Yu was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,082.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Da-Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 14 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled I-156 von Wu Da-Yu wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.082,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Da-Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 14 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.080.000,00 (€ 2.036.982,78).
