Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Colour Rhymes - 29 by Wu Da-Yu was sold in the Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 9,100,000.00 (€ 979,752.90). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Da-Yu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 14, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Colour Rhymes - 29 von Wu Da-Yu wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 9.100.000,00 (€ 979.752,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Da-Yu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled 14 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 18.080.000,00 (€ 2.036.982,78) versteigert wurde.
