This artwork by Wobbe Alkema achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2007. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Dutch Ontwerp Voor De Beschildering Kamerwand Cortinghpoort sold for EUR 3,360.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wobbe Alkema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work En Passant in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 84,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wobbe Alkema erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Dutch Ontwerp Voor De Beschildering Kamerwand Cortinghpoort für EUR 3.360,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wobbe Alkema erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit En Passant im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.000,00.
