A top price for Wobbe Alkema - as previously expected
The work En Passant by Wobbe Alkema was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2006. The price achieved of EUR 84,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, En Passant is the most expensive artwork by Wobbe Alkema that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit En Passant von Wobbe Alkema kam im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 84.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist En Passant das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wobbe Alkema, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
