Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birmingham Special, Rural Retreat, Virginia, 1957 by Ogle Winston Link was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November 2020. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ogle Winston Link achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected images, 1955-1958 in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,735.92).
