The work Boats in a harbour by Wim Oepts was worth EUR 30,000.00 to a buyer in December 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wim Oepts; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The yellow house sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of EUR 36,000.00.
