Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Het witte huis by Wim Oepts was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 20,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Wim Oepts have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2006 the work The yellow house was auctioned for EUR 36,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Het witte huis von Wim Oepts kam im Juni 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 20.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Wim Oepts konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2006 die Arbeit The yellow house für EUR 36.000,00 versteigert.
