This artwork by Wim Bosma achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2008. In the Twentieth Century Art auction, the work Havenbeeld sold for EUR 32,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wim Bosma; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ships In A Harbour sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of EUR 47,100.00.

In der Auktion Twentieth Century Art wurde die Arbeit Havenbeeld für EUR 32.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wim Bosma; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ships In A Harbour im Dezember 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 47.100,00.
