Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wim Bosma achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2012. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Havenbeeld Rotterdam sold for EUR 21,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wim Bosma - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ships In A Harbour, which sold at auction in December 2013 for EUR 47,100.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wim Bosma erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Havenbeeld Rotterdam für EUR 21.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wim Bosma mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ships In A Harbour beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für EUR 47.100,00 versteigert wurde.
