In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work A gentleman with his hunter and hounds by Wilson Hepple. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.00), 36% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilson Hepple - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Striking A Bargain, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,772.65).

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A gentleman with his hunter and hounds von Wilson Hepple zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 3.002,00) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilson Hepple mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Striking A Bargain beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.772,65) versteigert wurde.
