In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work A Frosty Morning changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,216.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilson Irvine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selden's Cove in March 2004 with an auction result of USD 59,750.00 (€ 48,608.85).
