Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Willys de Castro was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,933.48). Admittedly, works by Willys de Castro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Objeto Ativo: Duo in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 288,631.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Willys de Castro kam im Mai 2013 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 52.933,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willys de Castro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Objeto Ativo: Duo im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 288.631,61).
