This artwork by Willy Boers achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2012. In the Nineteen to Now auction, the work Blauwe muur sold for EUR 3,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Willy Boers; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pseudozoisch (schijnbaar dierlijk) sold at auction in September 2001 with the realized price of EUR 5,170.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Willy Boers erzielte im März 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now wurde die Arbeit Blauwe muur für EUR 3.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Willy Boers; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pseudozoisch (schijnbaar dierlijk) im September 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.170,00.
