In September 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX, which included the work Pseudozoisch (schijnbaar dierlijk) by Willy Boers. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,170.00 62% above the upper estimate.
