The result of EUR 2,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willie Cole - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gas Snake (G), which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,433.35).
