Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Tucker could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Untitled (No. 1) changed hands for USD 375.00 (€ 275.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Tucker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beulah Xii in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,911.39).
