Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 446,25 (€ 410,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Sharp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Watching Over his Sister im Januar 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.760,00 (€ 2.828,74).
