Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 6,144.00 (€ 7,150.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Scott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bowl, Eggs and Lemons in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,071,650.00 (€ 1,354,601.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cup, Bowl, Pan, Browns And Ochres von William Scott kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.144,00 (€ 7.150,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Scott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bowl, Eggs and Lemons im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.071.650,00 (€ 1.354.601,53).
