In January 2012 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Sale, which included the work View Of Burragorang Valley, New South Wales, Australia by William Rubery Bennett. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Rubery Bennett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Storm Clouds over Silverdale (Close to Camden, NSW), which sold at auction in May 2002 for AUD 30,550.00 (€ 18,515.15).
