Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dream of Dancing Women 63.5 x 75.6 cm. (25 x 29 3/4 in.) by William Roberts was sold in the Modern British Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,865.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Roberts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Chess Players in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 1,161,250.00 (€ 1,446,866.41).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.865,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
