Admittedly, works by William Purser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Constantinople, showing the Topkapi and the Suleimaniye with the Sultan's Barge in the foreground in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,156.28).
