Admittedly, works by William Leech have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Shining Palace in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 102,750.00 (€ 164,875.86).

Die Arbeit The Bridge In Regent'S Park von William Leech kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.030,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Leech auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Shining Palace im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.750,00 (€ 164.875,86).
