Admittedly, works by William Henry Davis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colonel Newport Charlett's Favourite Greyhounds, at Hanley Court, Worcestershire in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 62,836.26).
