Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Plowed Field (Vertical), Arvin, Calif.' by William Garnett was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,712.37). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Garnett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Plowed Field, Arvin, Calif. (Vertical Aerial 500 Ft.), which sold at auction in June 2010 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,680.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Plowed Field (Vertical), Arvin, Calif.' von William Garnett wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.712,37) einen neuen Besitzer.
