Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Paintings, which included the work Cattle Resting In A Landscape by William Frederick Hulk. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,586.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Frederick Hulk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Peasant With A Cow Near A Wooden Shed; And A Wooded Landscape At Sunset With A Peasant Woman And A Cow; A Wooded Landscape With A Pond, which sold at auction in May 2013 for EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cattle Resting In A Landscape von William Frederick Hulk zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.586,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
