Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Polderlandscapes by William Frederick Hulk. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,800.00 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Frederick Hulk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Peasant With A Cow Near A Wooden Shed; And A Wooded Landscape At Sunset With A Peasant Woman And A Cow; A Wooded Landscape With A Pond, which sold at auction in May 2013 for EUR 5,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Polderlandscapes von William Frederick Hulk zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.800,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von William Frederick Hulk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Peasant With A Cow Near A Wooden Shed; And A Wooded Landscape At Sunset With A Peasant Woman And A Cow; A Wooded Landscape With A Pond beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
