Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 33,280.00 (€ 31,491.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Eggleston achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, 1970 in May this year with an auction result of USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 946,123.52).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 33.280,00 (€ 31.491,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden.
