Sold at the upper estimate price
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included this untitled work by William Crozier. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,415.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Crozier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Siegfried'S Way in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 121,347.56).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von William Crozier zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.415,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Crozier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Siegfried'S Way im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 121.347,56).
