Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Entrance by William Crozier was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2015. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,560.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Crozier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Siegfried'S Way in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 121,347.56).

Die Arbeit Entrance von William Crozier wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.560,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
