The work The 36th (Ulster) Division at the Cenotaph by William Conor was sold in the Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 81,364.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Conor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dublin Horse Show, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 192,000.00 (€ 282,540.99).

Die Arbeit The 36th (Ulster) Division at the Cenotaph von William Conor wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 81.364,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von William Conor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Dublin Horse Show beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 192.000,00 (€ 282.540,99) versteigert wurde.
