Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dutch A Summer Landscape With Figures And Cattle by Willem Vester was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings and Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,000.00. Other works by Willem Vester have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 16,800.00 in April 2005 for the work Heemstede bij Haarlem: peasants at the outskirts of a village in the dunes.

Die Arbeit Dutch A Summer Landscape With Figures And Cattle von Willem Vester wurde im Dezember 2009 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings and Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Willem Vester haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.800,00 im April 2005 für die Arbeit Heemstede bij Haarlem: peasants at the outskirts of a village in the dunes beobachtet.
