Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,000.00. Other works by Willem Vester have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 16,800.00 in April 2005 for the work Heemstede bij Haarlem: peasants at the outskirts of a village in the dunes.
