Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ochtendgloren by Willem van der Nat was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of NLG 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of NLG 2,115.00 (€ 1,016.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Willem van der Nat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kippenren: chicken-run in July 2000 with an auction result of NLG 12,872.20 (€ 5,658.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ochtendgloren von Willem van der Nat kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von NLG 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von NLG 2.115,00 (€ 1.016,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem van der Nat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kippenren: chicken-run im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 12.872,20 (€ 5.658,16).
