Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Feeding the goats by Willem van der Nat. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Willem van der Nat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kippenren: chicken-run in July 2000 with an auction result of NLG 12,872.20 (€ 5,658.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Feeding the goats von Willem van der Nat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem van der Nat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kippenren: chicken-run im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 12.872,20 (€ 5.658,16).
