Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calves in a pasture by Willem van der Nat was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. The price achieved of EUR 1,997.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,400.00 – 2,300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem van der Nat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kippenren: chicken-run, which sold at auction in July 2000 for NLG 12,872.20 (€ 5,658.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calves in a pasture von Willem van der Nat wurde im Januar 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.997,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.400,00 – 2.300,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem van der Nat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kippenren: chicken-run beobachtet, die im Juli 2000 für NLG 12.872,20 (€ 5.658,16) versteigert wurde.
