It achieved a price of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 131,807.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 74%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Willem Schellinks; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Winter Landscape With The Tiber And The Ponte Molle, Rome sold at auction in January 2009 with the realized price of USD 266,500.00 (€ 208,138.08).
