Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Roemer, A Glass Flute, An Orange, Two Peaches And A Lemon In A Blue And White Wanli Kraak Charger With A Knife And A Partially Peeled Lemon On A Silver Platter, All On A Partially Draped Stone Ledge by Willem Kalf was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2013. The price achieved of EUR 115,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Kalf achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Chafing Dish, Two Pilgrims' Canteens, A Silver-Gilt Ewer, A Plate And Other Tableware On A Partially Draped Table in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,775,000.00 (€ 2,489,012.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Roemer, A Glass Flute, An Orange, Two Peaches And A Lemon In A Blue And White Wanli Kraak Charger With A Knife And A Partially Peeled Lemon On A Silver Platter, All On A Partially Draped Stone Ledge von Willem Kalf wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Chafing Dish, Two Pilgrims' Canteens, A Silver-Gilt Ewer, A Plate And Other Tableware On A Partially Draped Table im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.775.000,00 (€ 2.489.012,47).
