Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Willem Hussem was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Willem Hussem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,550.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Willem Hussem wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Hussem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.550,00.
