Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition by Willem Hussem was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,750.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Hussem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 35,550.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von Willem Hussem kam im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Hussem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 35.550,00 versteigert wurde.
