Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Willem Hussem was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Willem Hussem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,550.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Willem Hussem kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Hussem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.550,00.
