The result of EUR 4,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem George Frederik Jansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Shell Fisher In The Breakers, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 9,600.00.

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
