Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Willem George Frederik Jansen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Shell Fisher In The Breakers in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 9,600.00.
