Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The morning ride by Willem de Zwart was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem de Zwart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marietje in het gras: the daughter of the artist with a straw head in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The morning ride von Willem de Zwart kam im November 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem de Zwart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marietje in het gras: the daughter of the artist with a straw head im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
