This artwork by Willem Bodeman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2012. In the The Decorative Arts Sale, incl. Fine Paintings auction, the work Figures with cattle on a path in a forest sold for EUR 5,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Willem Bodeman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch a Winter Landscape With Woodgatherers On The Ice in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 24,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem Bodeman erzielte im Juni 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Decorative Arts Sale, incl. Fine Paintings wurde die Arbeit Figures with cattle on a path in a forest für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Bodeman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch a Winter Landscape With Woodgatherers On The Ice im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.750,00.
